Introduce myself!

Hi, everyone! I'm Reiko. I am really looking forward to get along with all of you. I want you know about me, so let me just introduce myself, especially my hometown I adore.

I was born in Hakodate located in the south of Hokkaido. Have you ever been there? If not, I   really recommend you to go!  There are so many nice places to visit :)

This picture is Goryokaku Park. My house is near there and I used to jogging around it. We can see beautiful cherry blossoms blooming around GW Holidays (much later than in Tokyo??).

There are beautiful churches on a hill. Hakodate is academically interesting because churches from various kinds of religious schools are in such a small place together.

In the Christmas season, we can see many young couples here...

...freezing. Better to stay at home in such a cold day, isn't it?DDD

This is my junior and senior high school where I had studied for six years. Some of the buildings are designated as important cultural properties. The school day here was awesome... except for math classes :p

When I was in the third year of the high, one of the popular idle groups, SKE48 came to make a promotion video for their new song. Most of the scenes were shot there though the uniforms they are wearing are different from my school's ones. If you like, please watch it :D

I am very glad if you get interested in my hometown (and me!) and make  comments on the article!!

<If you are ever in Hakodate♪ drop by and visit our place♪
ask for the Ikaru Seijins~~♪

We hope you are not too hard to digest♪

  1. Hi Reiko. Your post is full of pictures and I found your hometown really fascinating :) I did not know that Hakodate is such a beautiful town… And it is surprising that you can see cherry blossoms blooming on GW there. In Kanto area, I suppose they bloom on near the end of March or at the beginning of April. By the way, the picture showing Hakodate in the Christmas season is somewhat similar to Yokohama in the same season! And also we can see many couples here as well… haha :)

  2. Hi Reiko,

Thanks for two fine posts! You have done a wonderful job of showing how attractive Hakodate and your school are, and I like your other posts with the picture of the two different pictures of the boss. It is said that doctors with a good "bedside manner" are much less likely to be sued in my country than those who don't treat patients nicely.
